It's like the Establishment Democrats saw how successfully Trump has moved the Overton window and decided that they didn't want to miss out so instead of remaining in place they've moved to the right as well. And it might or might not work for a while, but it's not going to work indefinitely. Those suburban voters will not stay in a nonproductive relationship like progressives have. Just waiting until that never time when they'll get to our priorities.
